New Year, New Look for Cabinetry

Aristokraft Meets Consumer Needs with the
Introduction of Fashion-Forward Products

ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 11, 2006) — Appearance is one of the biggest appeals of cabinetry — its affordability is another. Fortunately for homeowners, Aristokraft has all the cabinetry bases covered by continually bringing new products to the stock cabinetry marketplace that are both fashionably designed and affordably priced.

“It’s very important to our customers that we offer the styles, finishes and design enhancements that are as timeless tomorrow as they are today,” says Cathy Hitz, senior brand manager of Aristokraft Cabinetry. “They trust us to give them affordable options that help them in all aspects of planning and achieving their design dream.”

Furniture-inspired finishes, transitionally styled door fronts and elegantly appointed embellishments top Aristokraft Cabinetry’s newest product introductions for 2006.

Furniture-Inspired Finishes

A fine piece of furniture, with all the warmth and comfort it brings to mind, often serves as the focal point and anchor of a room’s design. In 2006, kitchen cabinetry will evoke the same sense when Aristokraft launches its newest finishes — Saddle and the expansion of Rouge on Cherry.

Aristokraft Cabinetry continues to expand its offerings with the introduction of its new Saddle finish extending the palette for all wood types — Maple, Cherry, Birch, Oak and Hickory. The Saddle finish brings a deep chocolate-brown hue to cabinetry and is especially appealing on traditional Mission door styles such as Aristokraft’s Raulin and new Saybrooke door fronts.

Cherry is another look that has left its timeless mark on cabinetry design. While Cherry certainly isn’t a new trend in cabinetry, the ever-present demand for its rich red undertones, inviting glow and interesting graining pattern keeps this species in high demand. Since its launch Aristokraft’s Rouge finish on Maple has been a top seller, and more and more homeowners have requested the same Rouge finish on a Cherry door. By expanding the Rouge finish options and offering it on Cherry, Aristokraft broadens the selection of Cherry doors and balances the finish palette with Rouge, Butterscotch, Wheat, Saddle and Cocoa Glaze.

Transitional-Styled Door Fronts

The new Saddle finish is perfectly fitting on Aristokraft’s new Saybrooke door style. The Saybrooke door is an extension of the company’s Birch offering, meeting consumer demand for tighter-grained wood types. Styled to reflect the growing trend toward transitional design, Saybrooke’s mitered square door front and raised panel is appropriate for both contemporary and traditional possibilities. The door is available in a range of finishes from the lighter shade of Fawn, the medium Autumn tone and now chocolaty Saddle.

To open up the kitchen and increase the visibility of fine pieces of glassware, consumers opt to substitute a few solid door fronts with glass mullion doors. Aristokraft’s collection of mullion doors now includes the Shaker Style Mullion Door, and it comes just in time for consumers, who are fueling the popularity of Shaker, Mission and Prairie options in home décor. The Shaker Style Mullion Door is available in the Raulin and Winstead door styles.

Elegantly Appointed Embellishments

Cabinetry embellishments are the secret to an elegantly appointed kitchen and a custom, personalized look. Aristokraft’s selection of embellishments has grown with a variety of six new options reflecting the same furniture-inspired trend as the Saddle finish. The Acanthus Overlay, Acanthus Ornament, French Leg, Large and Small Scroll Corbel and Split Turning Spool add an extra element of detail, texture and character to base and wall cabinets. So beautiful, it’s like furniture … for your kitchen.
